Our leadership development programs leverage off the decades of multicultural global experience of our facilitators. In designing and delivering programs for the Asian market, and specifically in Thailand and Southeast Asia, our work helps local leaders build the relevant skills and capacity to deliver results in a global context, and supports expats in understanding how best to engage with local colleagues and teams to achieve sustainable performance.
We help leaders understand how to engage with a new culture, bringing what is most effective from their own and letting go the things that may create misunderstanding and conflict. We understand that best practice is not always culturally appropriate or effective so work with intact teams to find the best-fit practices that suit the specific multi-cultural context they work in.
As Thai companies expand their operations not only across ASEAN but also globally, as Central Group has done in Italy and Denmark, Thai leaders need to build their leadership capacity to deal with cultures sometimes slightly and sometimes vastly different than their own. We work with leaders and leadership teams engaging with cultural differences and challenges so they can align their behaviour in the most suitable and effective ways to drive sustainable engagement and performance.
Our key focus in both leadership development and executive coaching is to help leaders not only manage, but thrive through change. We work with two types of change: organisational change in response to internal and external factors such as resizing or market shifts, and role change, when leaders move from one organisation to another, across geographies, and especially from one leadership level to another.
Where organisational change underpins leadership development, we work with key internal stakeholders to understand the nature of the change, and design programs to help leaders develop the specific capabilities required to engage with the new context.
When leaders transitioning from one role to the next, we work with them to understand and make the required intellectual, emotional, and behavioural shifts to perform most effectively in their new context.
For leadership development to be successful it must be focused on helping leaders deal with the real business challenges they face day-to-day. We design learning interventions that help leaders turn potential into proficiency through in-the-moment practice.
The executives that attend our programs walk away having a clear action plan of how they will implement their learning to address their business issues.
We do not teach. We facilitate learning through tailored experiences and instruction.Our design process ensures that we work with key internal stakeholder to create tailored programs that work for each client within their unique context.
Our co-design process, means that clients are as involved as they choose to be in both the design and the delivery of learning programs. Where possible we leverage off existing information and processes within the organisation such as 360s and employee surveys, to both understand the need upfront, and measure change upon completion. Our design experience allows us to effectively synthesis and simplify complex concepts so that leaders can engage with them on practical level.
Because each program is designed with the client in mind, we can select and blend the most impactful learning tools and processes for the specific areas of content being addressed. A recent example is a two-day process designed to empower leaders to delegate within a multicultural context.
With a background in psychology and many years of experience in learning and talent management, we understand what it takes to build both leadership capability and personal character. Our programs are not built to merely transfer theoretical content, although participants do gain significant knowledge.
They are designed to build both practical skills in engaging with day-to-day business challenges, and the confidence to use these skills in the workplace.
Each program is designed to create a safe space within which leaders cannot only learn new ideas, but can try things out, and express themselves in order to create their own learning. We use customised simulations and games, parables and narratives, and action learning amongst a host of other tools to engage both the hearts and minds of leaders to learn.
From the moment of initial engagement, right through to completion, we work closely with our clients to understand the business challenges they are trying to address through leadership development, and design learning processes that will effectively empower their leaders to engage with these challenges. Our learning interventions are not about providing speeches and slides of theoretical content, but rather opportunities for leaders to actively engage with tools and processes that they can use in a practical way on their return to work.
